This song is by Amanda Lear and appears on the compilation album Queen of Chinatown (1998). I am a glossy photographI am in colour and softly litOver exposed and well blown upCarefully printed and neatly cutYou can look at me for hoursI won't mind, I let you dreamFrom the page of a magazine. I am a glossy photographOf course I am a bit retouchedAnd my colour has been processedBut cameras always eraseFear Lurking behind a faceI am a lie and I am goldBut I Shall never grow old.

Collectors looking to buy directly from the reissue from the Gold Legion label be very very cautious. I ordered 2 discs and for 4 months saw absolutely nothing. I am not the only customer experiencing this. At the end I made a complaint to my credit card and obtained a refund. At first they answered my email and kept saying they will check on the dispatch but after several times they stopped answering altogether. It wasn't as if they sent the cds and I did not get them. I think the truth is they do not have the cds there they claim they have in stock. There is a facebook page suggesting the label is a scam, and I absolutely do not think otherwise. This is not a malicious review and anyone has questions can look up.

Amanda Lear's album "I am a photograph" (1977) is a masterpiece. And what about this release on CD ? The sound is good, but on track 4 (= "Tomorrow") you can hear a short click in the first seconds of the song. This is inexcusable for a remastered album ! It's the first time I hear something like this on a Gold Legion release. Bonus track "Queen of China Town" sounds remarkably duller than the rest of the CD. The track seems to come from another source or has been remastered in a different way. The maxi version of "Blood And Honey" suffers from volume fluctuations, but I seem to remember that this was also the case with the original version. The quality of the cover picture is not optimum : the colors are faded. And the cover photo is retouched amateurish. The booklet has got some pictures of the covers of the singles that were released and there is also a short essay by Marc Handke. There is no information about who did remaster the music and where it was done. All in all this release is a bit disappointing !
